Who processes your data
The controller of the data collected through this website is Algarve Estate Care, based in Almancil, Loulé, Algarve, Portugal, represented by Pedro Anjo.

What data we collect
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), type and location of the property, plan of interest, and the content of your message.
We do not collect browsing data, we use no traffic analytics, and we do not profile visitors. The fonts used on this site are served from our own domain.
The "About us" and "Contact" pages include a map of our area of operation provided by OpenStreetMap. When that map loads, your IP address is communicated to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which uses it to serve the map tiles. We chose this service precisely because it sets no identifying cookies and does not track visitors across sites.
Why we use the data and on what basis
We use your data solely to answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and maintain any commercial contact that follows.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request, under Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
We do not use your data for automated marketing or unsolicited newsletters.
Who has access to the data
Form submissions are processed by the FormSubmit service (formsubmit.co), acting as a processor whose only function is to forward the form content to our email address. This service may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area.
The email is then received and stored in the email service we use. We do not share, sell or transfer your data to any other party.
If you go on to engage our services and a provider needs to be called in (plumber, electrician, cleaning company), we will share only the data strictly necessary for that intervention, and only after your authorisation.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a contractual relationship, we keep the data for 12 months and delete it thereafter.
If you become a client, the data is kept for the duration of the contract and for the legal periods applicable to tax and accounting records.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to request its deletion or the restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to request data portability.
You may exercise any of these rights by writing to geral@algarvestatecare.com. We reply within a maximum of 30 days.
If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (www.cnpd.pt).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and update the date shown at the top. We recommend checking it periodically.
